Nieuwegein/Madrid, 11 July 2023.
Codisys is a leading national and international supplier of software, hardware, and professional services solutions for the restaurant and retail sectors. Codisys is the 7th company to join Total Specific Solutions („TSS“) in Spain. And it is the second Spanish company active in the hospitality industry following Ofimática.
Codisys is a full-service organization providing a one-stop-shop experience for POS, ERP, and hardware solutions. Codyshop provides central management solutions for omnichannel retailing. It has cloud-based solutions and POS systems to facilitate remote access, scalability, and data security. To provide restaurant customers with a convenient ordering and check-out experience, Codisys offers mobile POS and self-service kiosks. Their solution has an omnichannel approach, including online ordering and contactless service. Advanced analytics allow restaurants to make data-driven decisions. And the software integrates seamlessly with other systems.
Jurriaan Piek, General Manager at TSS: „The tourism industry is an important economic driver in this country, and with the acquisition of Codisys, we further strengthen our proposition for the hospitality vertical. Ofimática, our first company in Spain to join us, focuses primarily on hotels, travel agencies & tour operators. Now we have Codisys, a company with a leading position in the restaurant chains and franchises sector. Codisys is customer-oriented, focusing on trust and striving to exceed customer expectations. For example, back in 1998, Codisys launched the first version of CodyShop with a focused POS application for the restaurant industry, which they expanded in 2001 to a full-service solution for the restaurant segment. This one-stop shop makes it easier for clients to get a solution that covers all their needs. Such a customer-centric approach is in line with our view, and it will be interesting to exchange best practices.
I look forward to helping Managing Director Ignacio Crespo and his team familiarize themselves with the TSS best practices and continue their growth path as an independent company within our group.“
Ignacio Crespo, founder, and Managing Director of Codisys: „We have been active in the market for more than 30 years, and we have established ourselves as one of the leading providers of software, hardware, and professional services solutions for the restaurant and retail sectors in Spain and South America. It was time for our company to take the next step and for this, we were looking for a new owner. TSS believes in perpetual ownership, buy once and hold forever. This is the perfect basis for continuing our journey into the future. We now have the backing of a large, dedicated software group with many best practices for running successful software companies. And TSS is eager to learn our best practices as well. Joining TSS means continuity for our employees, company, and customers, and we can focus on our next steps and plans.
We look forward to working with Jurriaan and his team, meeting the other TSS companies, gaining new inspiration and insights which we can take to our clients and begin the next part of our future.“

Total Specific Solutions acquires the Irish software company IMS MAXIMS
April 4th, 2023
Total Specific Solutions (“TSS”) has acquired Irish Medical Systems (Holdings) Ltd, which is known in the Irish and UK market as IMS MAXIMS (“MAXIMS”). This is TSS’s first acquisition in Ireland and the 6th in the UK/Ireland region.
MAXIMS offers healthcare solutions to public and private healthcare sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. The primary focus is the acute hospital sector, but MAXIMS also works, for example, for community care and mental health. The solution’s platform is designed to ensure that it will deliver immediate benefits to each healthcare organization. Thus, it has a modern Patient Administration System/Electronic Patient Record that is open, integrated, scalable, and modular.
Martijn Aardema, General Manager at TSS: “We are pleased to welcome MAXIMS, our first Irish company to TSS. Healthcare has been one of TSS’s core verticals and we are always keen to add new expertise to our Group. Although national rules and culture govern Healthcare, I believe we always learn from similar companies operating in different countries. Thomas Anderson, Neill McAnaspie, Jacinta Ni Suaird and the team have built a strong presence in the UK and Ireland, where MAXIMS offers its clients a full range of software solutions to help them with their daily needs in taking care of patients. I am proud to have such an established healthcare software company as our first Irish acquisition.
Together with Portfolio Manager Arjen de Wit, I look forward to supporting Neill McAnaspie, who will lead the company going forward as the Managing Director and his team in their new phase as an independent business unit of TSS.”
Thomas Anderson, former owner of MAXIMS: “I acquired MAXIMS in 2011, and with Neill, Jacinta and the team, we have made this company what it is today. Currently, I want to focus on other business ventures, and the time has come to give MAXIMS the opportunity to develop and grow as an independent business. TSS approached us with their ‘Software for Life’ strategy, which means that MAXIMS continues its future as a TSS business. And TSS understands the difference in cultures; whether it concerns countries or specific industries, each culture needs a dedicated approach. I feel assured about the future of the company with Neill as the managing director at its helm, its clients, and employees.”
Neill McAnaspie, Managing Director: “It is an exciting new step to be part of an international software company. I look forward to heading up the team of MAXIMS and working closely with Arjen and Martijn.”

The Dutch software company Advisor Software Solutions joins Total Specific Solutions
The Dutch software company Advisor Software Solutions joins Total Specific Solutions
April 3rd, 2023
Total Specific Solutions (“TSS”) expands its position in the horticultural sector by acquiring the Dutch software company Advisor Software Solutions B.V. (“Advisor”). Advisor is the supplier of a fully integrated ERP solution Match Online. Advisor is the fourth company in TSS’s agricultural portfolio next to ALFA PRO, TSD, and Passfield.
Advisor mainly targets wholesalers in the horticultural sector but also has auctions and nurseries as customers. The company offers its customers a complete solution for the operational processes with Match Online ERP and webshop. The software ensures a quick and efficient execution of the sales process and offers customers complete insight into and grip on their stock. Plus, they can enter customer-specific logistical and settlement agreements once, which the software then takes into account. On top of the ERP module, Advisor provides a multi-lingual webshop enabling customers to serve their market even quicker and more efficiently.
Joost van Haarlem, Portfolio Manager at TSS: „With the acquisition of Advisor, TSS has gained a broad base in horticulture. This sector has a large international market, is continuously in motion, and is challenged to deliver products correctly and fresh to the clients. The software companies in our portfolio can learn from each other by sharing best practices and becoming even more customer-focused. This is especially needed now as the market is consolidating, and the supply chain is shortening, resulting in changing demands of the ERP and software suppliers. Ab Haveman, founder and previous owner, has built a successful company and now hands over the reins to the new managing director Edwin Holleboom.
I look forward to guiding Advisor to a successful future within TSS together with Edwin and his team.“
Ab Haveman:“ My team and I have built a software solution for our clients that we can be proud of. It provides our customers with all their needs so they can service their national and international clients quickly and efficiently. Director Bert van Beek has managed the operations for the last few years. Now for both of us, the time has come to take the next step.
I have found a perpetual owner specialized in running successful software companies in TSS. Our company will maintain its identity, which our customers and employees will appreciate. As part of this large group, our colleagues will gain insights into expertise and proven methods regarding software-related areas you don’t have access to as a small company. This will be an enormous enrichment.
I am pleased to pass the directorship to Edwin Holleboom, and I am sure that he and the team will bring Advisor to new heights as part of TSS.“
Advisor Software Solutions
Advisor Software Solutions targets the horticultural sector with its Match Online ERP and Webshop software solutions. This sector in the Netherlands focuses primarily on an international market, meaning that software is a must for all operational processes, and a customer-friendly multi-lingual webshop is highly valued. Most employees of Advisor have experience in horticulture. The company is headquartered in Mijdrecht, the Netherlands.

Nieuwegein, the Netherlands/Ílhavo, Portugal, 27 September 2022. Total Specific Solutions („TSS“) has acquired a qualified majority stake in Edubox and 100% of Lusoinfo.
Edubox and Lusoinfo are software providers serving local governments with education management software in Portugal. These are TSS’s second and third acquisitions in the Portuguese software market, following Algardata earlier this year.

Michiel Walsteijn, General Manager at TSS: “We are pleased to welcome Edubox and Lusoinfo to TSS. These fast-growing companies offer complementary products, which are often sold together. As part of TSS, we can give them the support and insights so that they can take the next step and continue their growth path.
I look forward to working with Amaral Carvalho, Carlos Moreira and the teams of both companies and supporting them on the next step of their journey as an autonomous business unit of TSS.“
Amaral Carvalho, Managing Director of Edubox: „We are an established company in the Portuguese market, and we have ambitions to continue our growth. To realize this, we need the backing of a large company. In TSS, we found a perpetual owner who believes in software for life, meaning they buy once and hold it forever. Total Specific Solutions erwirbt den Anbieter von Versicherungssoftware V-D-V GmbH
Total Specific Solutions erwirbt den Anbieter von Versicherungssoftware V-D-V GmbH
Nieuwegein, Hamburg, 10 August 2022
